Desenzano del Garda, the capital of Lake Garda. This charming little town is said to be Lake Garda’s hidden gem, but as the years has passed, Desenzano have become incredibly renowned and visited by tourists from all over the world. Here you can walk among the monuments and remains from Roman times, such as spending days in the many shopping malls that have been built up over the years. The balmy evenings invite you to enjoy a glass of wine at one of the many cafes around the square, or stroll along the promenade and enjoy the spectacular views of the lake and mountain peaks.


Italy is synonymous of good food, and Garda Lake offers some special dishes. Each Town has it's own dishes variation. An important local product, the extra virgin olive oil, is considered one of the best Italian Oil.

Opened on July 1975, Gardaland is the eighth most visited theme park in Europe. Amazing roller coaster, water rides and dark rides, flat thrill and family rides. In June 2005 ranked fifth world top ten amusement park in the world by Forbes Magazine. For the bravest Gardaland opened their lastest attraction, OBLIVION THE BLACK HOLE!


Peninsula called Tongue, for its particular form. Renowned for thermal water and for the presence of Roman and medieval remains. The only access point is through the Scaligero Castle, built between the 13th and 14th centuries.
Sirmione is approximately 20 minutes by car from Desenzano del Garda. However, expect the queues to be long during the high season.

At 40 km from Desenzano is located Verona, known as the City of Love, choose it by Shakespeare as the setting of Romeo and Juliet book. The Juliet House, where you can find the famous balcony mentioned on Shakespeare tragedy and a Juliet bronze statue. Piazza delle Erbe , a square built during the Roman Empire, occupied by several ancient buildings.


Easily accessible by train or by car from Desenzano del Garda (it takes only 1 hour), can visit Milan, the Lombardy capital and the second most visited place in Italy after Rome. Named the world's design capital for the several events and fairs. A metropolitan city that combines culture and modernity. Art lovers can admire the Milan Cathedral , this iconic masterpiece is one of the largest all over the world; Sforza Castle, a huge medieval fortess with historical museums; Scala Theater, worldwide known for opera and ballets. About an hour's drive from Desenzano is Venice, renowed for the beauty, architecture and artowork, listed as a World Heritage Site.
